“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” – Acts 2:42
Christian growth doesn’t happen in isolation. Prayer is how we connect with God; fellowship is how we grow with others. Together, they form the rhythm of life for every believer.
Prayer isn’t a ritual — it’s a relationship. Whether spoken, silent, or sung, prayer draws us into God’s presence. We’re invited to cast our cares, intercede for others, and align our hearts with His will.
We were made for community. Fellowship with other believers strengthens us, encourages faith, and provides accountability. We grow best when we’re planted in healthy relationships.
Ask the Holy Spirit:
Father, thank You for inviting me into relationship — both with You and with others. Teach me to pray with faith and confidence. Help me to be a faithful friend and part of the body of Christ. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Write about a time when prayer or fellowship helped you grow spiritually. What new step can you take to deepen both this week?
